The Mobile County Democratic Executive Committee is made up of representatives
from all parts of the county, using the county commission districts as a guide. While committee seats are apportioned by gender within each district,
the committee strives for diversity and where necessary, uses "at-large" members to help achieve that balance.
Members of the committee commit to attending meetings (monthly during election years, quarterly otherwise), help recruit and support candidates for local offices,
work for fair & impartial elections, and generally support the committee.
