Meeting time will be the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM.
Our next regular meeting will be Tuesday,

The Democratic National Convention is going on August 25-28 in Denver - watch streaming video (HD quality) from gavel to gavel.
 Watch Barack Obama's speech from Mile-High Stadium
with fellow Democrats at the Democratic Headquarters. It will be broadcast, so we are having a speech-watching party! Start to
gather at 7:00 pm, that's Thursday, August 28.

Hello and Welcome

We are the Mobile County Democratic Executive Committee (MCDEC), your local contact and arm for the Democratic Party.
We are thrilled that you have taken the time to look at our updated web site. We have created this web site to
give you up to date information on meeting times, candidate introductions, activities, news, and more. We encourage
your participation at the local level.
Our meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Meetings are open to the general public and we encourage your participation.
Remember, there is always a place for you within the Democratic Party. Please take the time to review our list of subcommittees.
E-mail addresses and phone numbers for the chairpersons are included. You do not have to be a member to serve on the
subcommittees. I encourage you to find a place that fits your talent, and get involved.
As we have seen this past year, the country is looking for alternatives to the path America is headed. We invite you to take another
look at the Democratic Party. We share the values of God fearing, middle class citizens with a love and concern for those with the
least among us. We value the truly American principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for ALL men and women. We greatly
appreciate our military, who work every day, in every corner of the globe, to keep us free and safe from those who seek to destroy our way of life.
Again, I hope you will enjoy our updated website and will visit both the website and us regularly. We live in a blessed country with
freedoms unlike anywhere else in the world. It is our sincere hope that you will exercise your political freedom, no matter which Party
you choose, by getting involved locally. We encourage and welcome your choice to be involved in our Party. The Democratic Party!!
